Warranty Statement:

All ROADX tires are covered under a limited warranty of THREE YEARS against all manufacturing and
workmanship defects that occur during the warranty period.

The warranty period starts from the date of the tyre purchase and expires on the same date of the consecutive 3rd year.

Conditions for Eligibility:

  • The defect has occurred during the warranty period and is brought to the notice of ROADX within the warranty period.
  • The remaining tread depth is greater than the minimum tread wear indicator level (TWI) (Normally 1.6mm).
  • The tyre was subjected to normal and accepted usage and in accordance with the guidelines of the vehicle manufacturer or ROADX.
  • The usage of the tyre does not fall under the exclusions stated in this warranty.
  • The tyre was purchased from an authorized ROADX dealer or retailer and is supported by the purchase invoice copy.
  • The defective tyre is presented to a ROADX service representative.
  • Tyres accepted for claim shall become the property of ROADX.

Replacement with a pro rata reduction:

The ROADX tyres eligible under this warranty shall be replaced by a new comparable ROADX tyre with its price reduced on a pro-rata basis. The pro-rata reduction amount will be calculated according to the following formula.

The Tread depth shall be measured in all primary grooves that are available, ignoring tie bars and other cuts provided for water drainage. The tread depths shall be measured at four locations circumferentially and an average of these values will be taken as final remaining tread depth value.
The pro-rata amount under this warranty shall be in the form of a credit note issued by ROADX, which can be used to purchase the replacement tyre or any other new ROADX tyre.

Exclusions:

  • Accidental damage: Puncture, external injuries, through cut, impact break, stone entrapment, and damage due to any road hazards.
  • Operational abuse: Tyre spinning, curbing, improper pressure, run flat, improper loading, improper application, negligence, misuse, and driving at incorrect speed.

Improper tyre/vehicle service:

  • Tyre: Usage of damaged or rusted rim/rim-parts, incorrect inflation, damage caused due to improper mounting tools and techniques, non-balanced tyre/wheel assembly, improper repair of punctures or external damages.
  • Vehicle: Improper alignment, worn suspension components, improper brake adjustment, improper repair of external damages or any other irregularities in the vehicle impacting tyre performance.
  • External factors: Vandalism, damage or degradation due to exposure to chemicals, petroleum products, fire, electricity or any externally generated heat. Contamination inside the tyre by trapped water or any other material.
  • Wear Nature: Uneven wear, spotty wear, rapid wear, or tyre with irregularities in wear.
  • Environmental effects: Surface cracks due to ozone and other weather effects, storage and exposure to direct sunlight.
  • Ride Quality: Any vibration or ride disturbances observed after 10% wear of original tread depth.
  • Retreading & Repair: Any repaired or retreaded tyres.
  • Modifications: Any modifications or alterations to the tyres.

  • This warranty is in lieu of any and all other warranties and representations, express or implied, including without limitation any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, and no other warranty or representation of any kind is made by ROADX or shall be implied by law.
  • In no event and under no circumstance shall ROADX be liable to the buyer for any indirect, special, incidental, consequential, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of time, loss of use of vehicle, inconvenience, loss of goodwill or reputation, punitive or other damage, cost (including for alternate or replacement transportation), expense or loss of any kind.
  • ROADX dealers, retailers, representatives, or employees do not have the authority to make or imply any representation which in any way varies or extends the terms of this warranty.
  • Any tyre, no matter how well constructed, may fail in service or otherwise become unserviceable due to conditions beyond the control of the manufacturer. Under no circumstances is this warranty a representation that a tyre failure cannot occur.
  • ROADX reserves its right to change terms and conditions of this limited warranty.
  • The laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the Federal Laws of the U.A.E. shall govern this warranty policy.
  • Any unresolved dispute shall be represented before the Dubai Courts.
